McDonald's 7 Wonders: Restaurants that Capture the Soul of Cities

McDonald's Turkey is bringing together seven of its restaurants, distinguished by their architecture, location, and experience, in the "McDonald's 7 Wonders" project. Spanning from Bodrum Yalıkavak to Istanbul Sirkeci, and from İzmir Selçuk to Antalya, the project integrates McDonald's Türkiye restaurants into cities and travel routes.

McDonald's Turkey is taking its approach of blending the restaurant experience with the culture, architecture, and lifestyle of the city it's located in to a new level with its "McDonald's 7 Wonders" project. Seven restaurants located in different parts of Turkey, each with a unique connection to their surroundings through their design – Bodrum Yalıkavak, İzmir Selçuk, Muğla Göcek, Antalya Land of Legends, Istanbul Sirkeci, İzmir Çeşme Drive Thru (DT) , and Antalya Merkez – stand out as special stops reflecting the brand's diverse understanding of the restaurant experience in different cities.

Designed with modern architectural solutions, spacious indoor and outdoor areas, McCafé spaces, and digital ordering kiosks, the restaurants become meeting points not only for meals but also for taking breaks, having coffee, socializing, and spending time together at different times of the day.

7 restaurants, 7 different stories. 

“McDonald's 7 Wonders” brings together seven different restaurant experiences, each inspired by the character of its location.

The Bodrum Yalıkavak restaurant brings the Aegean atmosphere to McDonald's flavors with its unique sunset view. The İzmir Selçuk restaurant, on the other hand, blends the region's past with a modern restaurant experience with its stone building architecture inspired by the historical texture of Ephesus.

Located within the marina , the Muğla Göcek restaurant stands out with its design that harmonizes with the surrounding villa architecture and its spacious garden nestled in nature. The restaurant is also ideally situated as a pleasant rest stop before or after boat trips.

Designed with inspiration from Aegean stone architecture, the DT restaurant in Çeşme, İzmir , complements the vibrant life of Çeşme with its spacious outdoor area and drive-through option. The restaurant stands out as an easily accessible stop for both meals and coffee breaks.

The Antalya Land of Legends restaurant integrates the theme park's world of games and entertainment into the dining experience. Its colorful interior, play areas, and digital game table provide a fun space for children, while spacious seating areas allow families to spend quality time together.

Located near Kaleiçi and the Lycian Way , Antalya Merkez restaurant stands out with its spacious and airy garden. The interior design, dominated by natural materials and pastel tones, offers an experience in harmony with the historical atmosphere of the region.

The Istanbul Sirkeci restaurant, located in a protected historical area, offers its guests a taste of old Istanbul with its historic structure and unique layout. Overlooking the Bosphorus and Galata Tower, the restaurant serves as a special stopover point in the heart of the city for those exploring Istanbul.

McDonald's Turkey CEO Mwaffak Kanjee stated that they have opened 38 new restaurants since the beginning of the year, bringing the total number of restaurants to 332 , and said the following about the project:
