Misina Fish Brings the Unique Turbot Flavor to Retirees for 990 Liras
With its unique and distinctive flavor from the Black Sea, turbot holds an important place on Misina Balık's menu. Since its establishment, it has been offering its guests the finest flavors of seafood cuisine at accessible prices...
As part of the campaign, pensioners will be able to enjoy turbot for 990 Turkish Lira per kilogram every Sunday throughout Ramadan. Misina Balık aims to share the bounty of the turbot harvesting season with its retired guests, offering turbot prepared in two different ways at affordable prices for everyone. The tandoor-style cooking method, unique to this restaurant, adds to the turbot's flavor.
Suat Yılmaz, founder of Misina Balık, explained the campaign, which aims to offer affordable fish feasts to retirees, saying, “Normally, a kilogram of turbot costs up to 7,000 Turkish Lira at establishments along the Bosphorus. A 6,5-kilogram turbot can cost up to 55,000 Turkish Lira. We, however, offer it to our guests for 3,950 Turkish Lira per kilogram. Our guests pay 26,000 Turkish Lira for a 6,5-kilogram turbot. In other words, we offer turbot to our guests at a price significantly lower than other establishments, equivalent to the cost of a minimum wage.”
