HuqqA & HuQQabaz Continue Their Green Investments

HuqqA & HuQQabaz continues to expand its green investment approach, ranging from renewable energy investments to reforestation efforts. Founded in Istanbul in 2016 and responding to the changing rhythm of city life with a "breathing space," HuQQabaz is planting 10.000 saplings as part of the HuqqA & HuQQabaz Memorial Forest created in Şile in collaboration with the General Directorate of Forestry (OGM).

HuqqA and HuQQabaz , aiming to reduce the environmental impact of their operations , continue to expand their green investment approach with sustainability initiatives ranging from renewable energy investments to reforestation efforts.

Renewable Energy Production with the Solar Power Plant Project

As a significant step in this approach, HuqqA implemented a solar power plant (SPP) project in Nevşehir Cappadocia, which commenced production in January 2025. Located on a 20-acre site, the project has an installed capacity of approximately 1 MW and provides approximately 1,97 million kWh of renewable energy production annually through the solar power plant.

The project's daily output is equivalent to the daily energy consumption of HuqqA's three branches in Istanbul. In other words, the brand is meeting the energy needs of its Istanbul branches with the solar power plant project in Nevşehir Cappadocia. Thanks to the project, which aims to reduce the environmental impact of operations, approximately 700 tons of coal are saved annually, and approximately 800 tons of CO₂ emissions are prevented. This contribution translates to an environmental benefit equivalent to approximately 1.200 trees per year.

A Lasting Mark for the Future

HuqqA and HuQQabaz, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Forestry (OGM), position the Memorial Forest established in Şile, Istanbul, as one of the growing steps in their sustainability approach, which extends from renewable energy investments to reforestation efforts.
