Dubai, where Uzakrota will hold its first summit, is preparing to host Türkiye's leading outgoing operators. Uzakrota Founder Gökhan Erdoğan said, "When you look at outgoing statistics, the regions with the highest increase in global activity are now concentrated in the Eastern axis. We are trying to position ourselves more in the Balkans and the eastern part of the country. That's why we've added the Dubai summit to our journey for the first time this year."
Founded as a local summit initiative and expanding globally, Uzakrota kicked off 2025 with the Kuala Lumpur summit in January. Acting as a bridge between continents and regions, Uzakrota, a global tourism event, continues its journey in its 12th year, first with the Dubai and then Istanbul summits.
Uzakrota, one of the most inclusive events bringing together the tourism and travel industries, will convene in Dubai on September 30th. The summit, held at the Sheraton Grand Dubai with Turkish Airlines and Dubai Business Event as main sponsors, is expected to attract 500 tourism professionals and 20 speakers from the UK, CIS, the Balkans, the Caucasus, Europe, and the Middle East. The Dubai summit, which is significant as it marks the first stop in the Uzakrota summits, will also feature leading tourism professionals and travel operators from Türkiye.
The tourism summit's largest stop will once again be Istanbul. Uzakrota Global'25 will take place on November 28th at the Hilton Bosphorus Convention Center. More than 15 tourism professionals from over 100 countries and the world's largest tourism technology companies will meet at this summit. Türkiye's leading outgoing operators are heading to Dubai
Uzakrota Founder Gökhan Erdoğan noted that Uzakrota, founded in 2010, has grown into a major global travel network over time, saying: “By expanding its network to various destinations, Uzakrota not only helps market destinations but also connects undiscovered markets—what we call blue oceans—with its network. By connecting local brands, we are building a global travel bridge. This provides opportunities for brands seeking to expand into new markets, those seeking to expand outside our region, or those seeking to come to our region. Looking at outgoing statistics, the regions with the highest global activity are now concentrated in the Eastern axis. We are also striving to position ourselves more in the Balkans and the Eastern part of the world. Major global players in the sector are now making plans to establish a presence in this region, even opening offices. Major operators in the Arab region are located in the Balkans, the Far East, and Baku. In this context, as Uzakrota, we are shifting our focus in this direction. In fact, we will be holding a summit in Dubai for the first time this year.” We will host leading outgoing operators from Türkiye, as well as those from the UK, CIS, Balkans, Caucasus, Europe, and the Middle East in Dubai on September 30th. Our most comprehensive event will be held in Istanbul on November 28th. Bringing together authorized tourism offices, travel agencies, hotels, airlines, cruise companies, and tour operators from the regions, Uzakrota Global'25 will bring the pulse of the global tourism sector to Istanbul.
